Fort Bend County has been divided into 5 tiers based on your zip code.

Attention Landlords:
Even though the payment standards have increased, the rent being requested must still be rent reasonable.
If the rent requested is not reasonable, the RHA must negotiate down. The increased payment standard does not guarantee your requested rent will be approved.

Fort Bend Co. has been divided into 5 tiers. The Tiers reflect the rents charged in each of the zip codes of the Tier.
If a zip code is located in a “Full” tier, the RHA covers every area of that zip. If a zip is in a “Partial” tier, the RHA will only cover the portion of the zip code that is located in Fort Bend Co. How do you determine if your unit is within Fort Bend County? Follow the steps below.

What is a Partial Coverage Zip Code?
The RHA only covers units that are in Fort Bend County. But some zip codes are only partially in Fort Bend County, meaning some of the zip code extends into other neighboring counties. Therefore, you must look up your unit’s address to determine if it’s within the county lines by visiting fbcad.org
How do I determine if my unit is within Fort Bend County?
If your unit is located in a Partial Coverage zip code (as indicated on the map above), you can determine if it is in Fort Bend Co by following these steps:

Visit FBCAD.ORG.
Step 2
Choose Property Search
Step 3
Enter the address of the unit. IF the unit appears in FBCAD, then RHA will accept the requested unit.
