INTERIM POLICY |
To submit a VALID Interim Request, you must provide: 1) An Interim Request Form – AND – 2) Proper verification for the change These things must be provided to our office at the same time and within 30 days of the change. Anything short of this will not be accepted and will be denied. Interim Requests submitted after the 20th of the month WILL NOT be effective for the following month!

Beginning January 2024:
1. REPORT ALL CHANGES 2. Only 1 interim decrease greater than 20% of annual adjusted income will be processed each year. 3. No interim decrease will be processed the first 6 months of initial occupancy, move or incoming port. DECREASE IN JOB INCOME/LOSS OF JOB 1) Fill out Request for Interim Adjustment Form NOTE: An interim request consists of two parts: a request for a change and required verification documents supporting the requested change. If you would like to request a 2nd Interim Decrease in a year, please click the Interim Hardship Form. Fill it out and return to the RHA office, or on Assistance Check with the requested Interim. Please note: When moving and reporting a decrease, the move will be suspended to adjust the rent estimator down, if the family fails to report the decrease during the term of the voucher, the family must wait after the initial 6 months before the interim for the decrease can be conducted. |

Return the completed packet, verifications/forms and any additional information in person to the RHA or through your AssistanceCheck portal. Increase of Job Income/New Job 1) Fill out this Interim Change Request Form Please note: Reporting an increase is required, but the increase will not be processed if the family already has wage income greater than $7250. If porting in or moving, all reported increases that require a change will result in an interim 60 days after the move in date |
